It’s not only about square footage and an open living room to dining room flow.
It’s about finding the kitchen you’ve dreamed of roasting (or burning to bits) a Thanksgiving turkey in while your family cracks up over a game of cards.
It’s not only about getting top dollar.
It’s about feeling cool as a cucumber as you move through the process of evaluating, showing, and selling a space that has been dear to your heart.
I’M KNOWN FOR:
Being a sharp negotiator, catching the smallest contract detail that’s out of place, and sticking by your side until the very end. (Also, for making a delicious negroni, but that’s less helpful in this context)
I’M NOT KNOWN FOR:
Making mistakes, stirring the pot with other agents, only being available during normal business hours (because honestly, most deals happen outside of the 9-5, week-day grind), or being old-school salesy in any sort of way
Although you might not guess it from the fact that I might roll up to showings in suits (a low-key passion of mine), I’m a Colorado local who was lucky to be born and raised in beautiful Boulder County. And now, I live in Denver with my lovely wife.
That paired with my love for keeping up with the Colorado market means I know which neighborhoods are currently the best bang for your buck, can advise you on how fast to move, will strategically market your listing so you get offers, and can give you honest answers about the culture and community. (Like how LGBTQIA+ friendly certain parts of Colorado actually are.)
So, how did an inherently non-salesy person get into selling real estate?
In some ways, real estate has always been in my blood thanks to my grandmother, who was a trailblazing agent in Boulder. But, I officially got my start as a realtor’s assistant supporting with 50+ transactions before deciding to pursue my license and become an independent real estate agent.
A big reason why I am incredibly detail-oriented is because handling contracts and smaller details was my introduction to the real estate world.
Once I transitioned to a full-time agent, I realized that the real estate world was hungry for an honest approach.
Prioritizes your wants and needs over everything else
Gives it to you straight when something isn’t right
Helps you make a decision you’ll be happy with after the rush has worn off
Is a well-informed voice of reason when emotions run high
“Sophie helped us navigate a complicated process with ease.”
“We have recommended Sophie to multiple friends, who have also had great experiences with her.”
“She is a true asset for your Front Range realty needs.”
“Sophie was the best realtor I’ve ever worked with to sell my house.”
ON A PERSONAL LEVEL
I absolutely love house music and am a singer/songwriter.
Outside of being a Realtor, I love to cook. (And I’d love to go to culinary school somewhere short-term just for fun).
The most Colorado thing about me is my love of snowboarding, hands down.
The next place on my travel bucket list is a trip to Japan!
